Who we are
Symmetry Cyber and AI Consulting LLC ("Symmetry," "we," "us") operates this website from Richmond, Virginia. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@symmetrycyber.ai.
Information we collect
This website is informational. We collect only what is needed to respond to you.
- Contact form. Name, organization, business email, an optional phone number, and the message you write. These fields are required to respond to a consultation request.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security providers automatically process standard connection data such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps in server and security logs. This is used to deliver the site, detect abuse, and protect against attacks.
- Email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
We do not use advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-conscious, cookieless analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it.
Why we collect it and how we use it
- To respond to consultation requests and other inquiries you send us.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website, including detecting spam, bots, and abusive traffic.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
The following providers may process information on our behalf, under their own terms and security commitments:
- Cloudflare provides website hosting, DNS, content delivery, security services, and the Turnstile verification challenge used on the contact form.
- Resend provides transactional email delivery and forwards contact-form submissions to our business inbox.
- Microsoft 365 provides business email and productivity services used to receive and respond to inquiries.
Retention
Contact-form submissions are forwarded by email and are not stored by the website itself. We retain inquiry emails in our business mailbox for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the business relationship, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Provider security and access logs are retained according to the providers' standard retention periods.
Do not submit sensitive information
This website does not intentionally collect, and is not designed to receive, classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), passwords or credentials, protected health information (PHI), payment card data, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal data. Do not submit such information through the contact form or by email. If sensitive information is received inadvertently, we will delete it and may ask you to resend your message without it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, collects the minimum information necessary, and uses bot protection and rate limiting on the contact form. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please use the form only for general business inquiries.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask that we delete inquiry records where we are not required to keep them. Requests can be sent to contact@symmetrycyber.ai.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website or our services change. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
